Great post and point. You are correct that Isodiol is currently focusing on CBD products. Their entire business is centered around it and it is with these products (such as ISODERM) that they are also penetrating into foreign markets (such as Brazil).
The deal that Isodiol inked with Tweed (Canopy) a couple days ago is to market THC edible products to the recreational market in Canada. I'm sure you know, and as the article I posted made the point, edibles are going to be a massive massive market for recreational. Aspects of the Tweed deal involves creating new products and licensing products.
The one place where I disagree is where you suggest it would be a bad idea for Isodiol to enter this market. IMO to the contrary, this is going to be explosive for Isodiol and through partnerships with absolute top-tier players like TWEED/Canopy will position Isodiol as the dominant edible player in the recreational market -- with international partnerships and distro already in place.
They are medical-only now and currently until Canada recreational market goes legal in 2018.
