Let me get this right... Les sells shares of an American Company... to people who want to buy the shares... and he's broken some Canadian law...??? I don't see the connection... What Canadian laws... has Les broken...???

So, say you are in the United States, and a Canadian has a truckload of goods stolen in Canada he wants to sell to you. Think law enforcement would turn a blind eye?

This is beyond simple. It doesn't matter if the product is American or Canadian, there are laws in British Columbia in place to protect its citizenry against theft and fraud.
If a scammer sells stolen shares of an American company to an unsuspecting Canuck, it's a crime. Period.
