The ML guy has a point....although the news didn't drive the price up, news did come out at least 2-3 times he said it would.

Valueinvestor and the MerrillGuy updates have been correct several times. Probably each time if memory serves.

What they are not in control of is weak hands, shorting or anything else going on with the stock.

It (the update) does not automatically mean price will go up, it just means news is close. And that part Merrill has been correct. At minimum it can reiterate in your mind why you have invested here. The stock price comes later with proven revenues.
