Great post Ash.

I just want to add that Zimmer signed its exclusive contract with Implex in 2000 with option to buy by 2004. I bring this up because these things take time. At the time of BO, Zimmer had 7 products under development with Implex....most have since failed. This is why Zimmer is looking for a new material! What better material then Si3N4?

What potential products are the 2 developing together?

1. Spine products
2. Hip
3. Knee
4. Dental

There are more but these are the products im most familiar with.

For those that do not know, the reason Zimmer didnt sign an exclusive contract with Amedica in 2015 was because of the terms of Hercules loan prevents exclusive licensing in the US.
