We have a lake about 90 miles away that's loaded with hybrid stripers. I'll admit my ignorance, can't catch them any other time of the year but winter. When they group up in the warm water discharge from the power plant? Ain't nothing like it. It puts this salmon fishing to shame, but the experience and freedom of getting away is priceless. The fishing isn't too shabby either. The King Salmon fight like stripers.
