Agree. Immelt's tenure as CEO has been an unmitigated disaster, and he effectively ran America's greatest company into the ground. It will most definitely take years to reverse the damage, and a breakup may be the best result long term holders here can hope for.
What good are repeated quarters reporting $$Billions in order backlog if the company cannot make any real significant profits off of the years of huge order backlogs?
