While I agree, that kind of thinking can be hazardous because it causes people to want to get out at the exact top, which is not realistic.
I'm not sure how fast it went over $2 and how long it stayed there either. Did it crash back down or was it over several days or weeks?

Profit is profit. There is always another stock waiting to go up.

Knowing when to sell is definitely my nemesis though, so I understand.
