Labor of love for sure. We breed Holsteiners for jumping / hunting / dressage. Glad to hear the Amish could make use of them. Horse business definitely ebbs and flows... we keep it relatively small and for fun. One stallion , a few nice broodmares, and a foal crop of 3-5. I'm just happy to see them in our fields and the farm assessment on the property taxes doesn't hurt.
