I believe they are planning/aiming to start sooner than July 1st. Many people think April 20th.

Wrong millions of dollars of cannabis will be sold next July 1, The blackmarket street dealers don't take vacations, while Tweeds doors closed for 3 days millions and millions of dollars of cannabis will be bought and sold. As a matter of fact my Compassion Club is open 365 days a year all be it Sundays and Holidays are short hours. NO Rec user with a regular source will order 3 days ahead of July 1 when they will be at Cannabis Day festivities with 100's of vendors selling all cannabis products, Funny Tweed and the LP mail order will be the niche business, catering only to the inexperienced user and those who don't want to get high, which is the whole purpose of rec use!

Legalisation wil be before July 1. They indicated that after they got blow back on July 1 as their target date. they modified the language in their releases to say "by" july 1. they are the government they can change their minds but IMO they are going to have joints in hands by canada day next year. Everything is speculation.
