Elons SOlar panels are much more relevant here than the Swedish associate system which relied on internal plumbing t heat water etc.
SolarCity's shingle or stand alone panels are proven and cheap, we will need battery storage for the community as well and some EV charging stations!

Tesla is developing solar roof tiles, ironically the same business that Soltech in Sweden has had for years and not made much penetration with. For Jan to say that he is considering the Tesla (Solar City) option sorts of says something about Soltech and maybe their lack of technological advancement or the sheer cost of delivery from Sweden to Baja California.
