unusual to have a lame duck CEO in this situation, where there clearly was a disagreement about something. taking out a CEO is like removing a king, you do it first and deal with the interregnum afterward. Lonbardo is now the regent, and he will serve until a suitable CEO can be scratched up or until the Company is sold.

lame duck CEOs only occur in more presidential style systems where the CEO has hit the mandatory retirement age.
