Yes, from a small amount of production and only using IPQA software, which isn't designed to do so.

Contour, on the other hand is more specifically designed to do so with precise geometric analysis including optics which render a 3d visual of each part.

Also, perhaps with the sensors becoming more intricate and our knowledge of material thru our analytics data, the possibility of a complete solution is steadily growing.

If you go by what they said and not your imagination, the answer is what they detect has little to do with the IPQA process and no value to the AM process. They determined it didn't work. They are going to try something else besides Sigma. The old "back to the drawing board". I don't know how they can make it more clear. THanks.

I imagine that they were able to detect CTQs, just not statistically significant enough to be reliable, right?
