You are probably right. An AGM is not normally the forum for 'new announcements'. As you say, what is required is the draft Permit to Mine and one can only wonder why, at almost a year since application, it has taken so long for nothing to be forthcoming! Has anyone any idea just how many public servants are likely to be working at this? Presumably, they will all down tools very soon to take vacations, which will further protract this already sclerotic process. Frankly, they should be ashamed of themselves, but then they can always hide behind over-regulation as an excuse. Equally, just how long does it take a federal judge to make a written judgement resulting from a two hour court hearing? It has been three months so far! Everything to do with this project seems to be on super-extended timelines.
