I think they already qualified as RAS ponds. Or maybe not. It's 400m x 400m or exactly 240mu that was supposed to be completed by the end of Q1 (from 10-Q). I guess they are upgrading them with black plastic linings and preparing them for Mexican White shrimp. So these will probably have plastic coverings during the winter.

The reason why they built some solid roof structures at PF2 is because the RAS ponds were already there. They called them semi-open RAS ponds at the time. But this is still an expensive solution with the concrete floors.

What we are seeing now at the Mega Farm is 3rd gen. ODRAS. Much cheaper. And only one RAS system for 15 connected ponds. The yield should still be good with 6 cycles and potentially up to 150 White shrimp/square meter. Solomon calls it a revolution in aquaculture.

So I guess the next question is, what's the stocking density for these ponds for White shrimp, Tiger shrimp, and freshwater shrimp. And will they be stocking them with adult shrimp. That still makes sense to me because they already do the gradings at the indoor farms at different stages, and the yield could even be higher for the RAS ponds this way. That would make SIAF/Tri-way unique in the world I think.
