The BID and ASK positions for the past week have been interesting to watch and it appears that some manipulation is involved. Just an observation and conclusion...
On Monday, there was a 100,000 share ASK at 22 cents by NITE. The share price bumped against that level, but none of the shares were sold. On Tuesday, CDEL had a 99,900 share ASK at 22 cents. 100 shares had already traded when I got on, so that could have come out of the CDEL block.
Why the large block of shares at 22 cents? One suggestion was that it was to prevent any run-up or momentum in order to make a rally fizzle out.
What was interesting on Friday, was that CDEL had an ASK position for 250,000 shares at 17 cents. And that is were the price ended up for the week.
