Satellite photos show AMS putting up the skeleton of the building in Aug-Sept 2014.

In March 2015 Steve Barber said

"it is frustrating to have work completed on the outside shell of the building but nothing else can go ahead." And "He says there are some seven stages involved before production can begin and they are on stage five right now."

In October 2015 a report said

"Health Canada has given Alternative Medical Solutions the green light to finish work on its medical marijuana facility in Hanover.

The shell of the building has been sitting idle for about seven months while the company waited for some red tape to be completed.

Hanover Chief Building Official Don Tedford says work has begun to close the building so interior work can begin.

Barber hopes to complete the construction work in April (2016).

Once that is down, Health Canada must complete another thorough inspection before the company can begin production.

Barber hopes to be able to do that next May (2016).

The facility in Hanover includes 12 foot high fences, security guards, a hundred video cameras and a large vault where the marijuana products will be stored.

So in March 2015 they reported they were at "Stage 5" on a building that, at that point, had no walls.

Two years later, photos posted in the Intro show a building with a roof and exterior walls but still having a dirt floor. They were accompanied with the caption "AMS Building Exterior - Below Pictures taken 5/4/17." Contrary to the article above, the photos show no evidence of any "12 foot high fences."

BLDV management reports $12 million is needed to complete the project and that they have been working "for over a year" to secure funding. Clearly AMS has no ability to self-fund their own project. The carrying costs of this 3 year old project must be killing them financially.

We first learned of AMS from BLDV in October 2016, so they must have been at this stage for a while before. We do not know how long.

I think BLDV is taking on a pivotal role now to get them the financing to be able to finish the build out and continue in the process. I think this is why AMS will be joining BLDV.

In general, I have not been able to find any time estimates as I think it depends on many variables including processing times by Health Canada which they are trying to expedite/streamline (see my next post).

Go BLDV!
