Actually that would be a Zuckerberg-type move. He did want PoolWorks and he is actively trying to acquire international social networks, but he would not have to offer a $1.00 per share to do it. He could offer .25 a share and a shareholder resolution would pass by the end of the day. At least in my opinion. By the way, at their current price of $159 per share, it would cost Facebook approx. 1 million shares and move Facebook's share count from 2.36 to 2.37 billion. However, every share they purchased at .0006 would decrease that number commensurately for literally pennies on the dollar.
So you are probably saying to yourself that we would notice the volume increasing by millions and millions of shares for no reason. Naw - must be a coincidence. :)
