My sister is a gourmet chef. One of the recipes that she shared with me was to take a zuchinni and dice it up and set it off to the side. In a frying pan, brown some bacon and sautee some onions with a dash of olive oil. When you feel the bacon is about halfway done, toss in the zuchinni, along with some garlic powder. It's an extremely simple, yet awesomely delicious dish.

I have a zuchinni plant coming up, it hasn't produced fruit yet.

Have you ever tried Walla-walla onions? A friend recommended them this year and I grew them in the garden. They are the sweetest and most delicious onion I've ever had.
