Yes, his investment style is just basic Benjamin Graham value investing. Buffett was a student of Graham's at Columbia Univ and then worked with him prior to starting Berkshire Hathaway.

Graham's investment philosophy, per Wikipeda - "stressed investor psychology, minimal debt, buy-and-hold investing, fundamental analysis, concentrated diversification, buying within the margin of safety, activist investing, and contrarian mindsets."

Pretty basic stuff, and phenomenally successful. And Buffett did it all without tech stocks. Wish I would have invested in Berkshire when their B shares came out in the 1990s, but at the time I thought Buffett was getting too old, and tech stocks were all the rage..
