The date of the story was April 2017. Contracts are only lasting a few months now. Volvo itself said it has a deadline of 2019 to rid itself of combustion engines. Meanwhile it has a 2017 news item saying it is going to use Westport engines.
I am not in this for the long term. So I don't care whether Volvo goes electric. The price of this stock goes up .10 tomorrow or next week. I made a little money.
