Yes it's the front entrance to our development.

It's a divided entrance and both sides needed to be painted.

It took 3 pickups of mulch to get it looking like that in addition to raking all the old crap out and taking it to the landfill.

There is a crusty old guy worse then me who lives at the front entrance and he bet me my son and I could not pull it off.

My son wrote the whole project up and went door to door raising money. We had tried it once before with an adult trying it and it fell flat.

The kid included everything including gas money for the use of 3 pickups drinks for the volunteers and arranged for the date it would all happen.

The manager at HD cut him a break on the mulch after he explained it was a community service project.

A year later it still looks like that and my son has now enlisted younger kids to keep it up.
