Previous to having a permanent position those tasks would have been done by a contract basis, when required.
Now the interesting bit is hill skill set is required full time where previously any contractor could have been called in from time to time.
Why do they need him full time, work load significantly growing maybe.
He would most likely earn more than the CEO, given he could earn very high remuneration at many other employers.
QS can't currently afford him, or the associated costs of his work.
Unless sales were in the near term.
The CEO has flagged a strategy of approaching a small operator for a demo site, that could easily be done without him, he will be needed for large scale deployments, I think the writing is on the wall that we will have something big brew very soon.
