Senrex, the LOL is making light of a schedule slip situation outside of investor, and likely, PPHM management control. If you take a big picture perspective of what we heard yesterday, PPHM told investors that good progress is being made on business plan milestones but many of the board speculations about impending, positive surprises were unfounded. Not only that, timing for board speculated progress needs to be adjusted by maybe six months or more. Again!

I see it 90% educational to me as to how the trial process works and 10% that PPHM did not deliver on schedule. For example, the bird flu go/no go target for this fall was cited by PPHM earlier and investors saw a report of the egg studies that certainly made things look promising. Then we heard yesterday that PPHM didn't have enough data assembled to make the call. It wasn't go. It wasn't no go. It was unresolved. And PPHM gave no indication as to when it will be resolved, if ever. That after all the board speculation about bird flu and government money on the way, LOL! Why? But then, I didn't invest in PPHM because of its bird flu treatment prospects anyway. I am very interested in seeing the HCV Bavi repeat dose study results and the bird flu was somewhat of a side show.

Something that works for me is that I don't use borrowed funds in investments any more. That gives me control of schedule and limits downside to the amount I invested, taking a lot of the stress away from investing. I also cost average on downswings in pps to lower my cost basis while awaiting PPHM to reach milestones (like the HCV repeat dose study result).

I believe I understand the PPHM business plan's general direction and expect it will deliver on at least some of that potential PPHM mentioned in the annual President's letter. If that happens, my return will be well above the market average. Things take time and I can live with that-- even if it means mid-year 2007 for something I hoped would have been delivered by the end of the year.
Best wishes and IMO.
