I actually think the opposite. That is one of the appeals to the crypto currencies is that there is not a single governing body over it. This may end up being very scary for the USA as the more and more the crypto currencies start being accepted internationally, it may reduce the demand of the US dollar being the fall back currency for exchange rates. Less and less control for the US and also could lead to some major long term problems as countries like China and Germany and middle eastern countries start passing over the use of Uncle Sam as the middleman.

I am here in the US so I am not wishing ill will on us but it will be fascinating to watch. I know some of the huge mining operations are already off US soil so they have no desire to divulge block chain data to the IRS.

Again, I think this is what allures some people to use crypto's.
