Brilacidin didn't fall into their lap. The PolyMedix asset purchase appears to have been specifically for Brilacidin.

I don't think IPIX is in the market to buy potential platform drugs.

Dr. Menon developed both Kevetrin and Prurisol himself.

Brilacidin fell into CTIX's lap when they bought Polymedix. They also acquired quite a number of additional very interesting drugs. They have enough already on their plates waiting to get into the pipeline to keep them busy for decades IMO.

I am sure Dr Menon is already developing / doing pre-clinical trials on a number of formulations that he has envisioned and brought to life. That is what he does, who he is, a small molecule drug innovator/visionary.

I think Leo is gone from active mgt. after the first partner signing. He will have earned the big bucks, may as well start enjoying them. You can only stuff so many dollars into your casket with you. IMO.
