But, if the market do not have accurate information, we can find companies over- or undervalued.

That's my point exactly: sometimes, the market does not have enough/accurate information, and so it overvalues or undervalues companies.

That is when those who have done more DD, or for whatever reason think that they know more than the market does, can buy/sell and make money.
