If an officer/direstor knows of a CERTAIN IMBALANCE in the market due to an action that Corp is about to take, the officer/director may request a temporary halt for Specialists or Market Particpants to re-set away from public markets. It is extremely rare. It normally happens on huge merger or LBO deals when supply/demand takes huge leaps of illiquidity corners.
I don't know what this crew has up its sleeve but I think with the $$$ guarantees I heard Harris make in his promotional web interviews clearly he doesn't think he's an officer/director.
