Hey empty head:). Not focusing so much attention to drys, but drys led the direction. From a macro standpoint. Don't look at the individual bulk shippers, but look at the whole bdi picture. Shipping and commodities in the toilet. If shipping rates are depressed, what else can a company do to stay afloat? How do they stay in business? Doing the R/S may piss off shareholders, but are they really doing illegal acts here?
The main reserve currency (US)in the basket, has ultra low rates that affect shipping rates. Also there is a massive trade imbalance (politics)
