Frying chicken is a bit easier than having to invent the chicken, invent the cooker, and introduce the concept of dining out. It takes quite a stretch to turn it into an attack on NNVC.

Colonel Sander's started marketing his secret recipe out of the trunk of his car. I doubt he had more than a few weeks of funds available.
