Buyout MIGHT BE why they ordered the valuation, to set a base for negotiation. Good point.

Yes. This could be a prelim to a buyout or marger. I think the main reason SBFM would pay to have such an eval done is to show their unbiased worth to a buyer. Besides the fact they promised they'd do so in their last 10q and now why would they offer to do so. They know what they have here and about to go bigly.
