Well, we are not supposed to discuss other companies on iHub, so I will only speak here to BFRE. Frankly, Bluefire needs a financing miracle for another $30M, and very soon, to get the Fulton plant started, if in fact, the Chinese EXIM Bank is still willing to go ahead with their promised $270M loan?
Trump was talking very favorably about the normal corn-ethanol industry while in Iowa, but I feel the new DOE personnel may not be as favorable toward funding a new cellulosic ethanol process, and I am not aware of anything being considered yet on this. However, it would sure be interesting to learn how well the Bluefire process would be, based on the good pilot plant results they got in Japan!
