I would say switch brokers instantly if you are being charged that kind of money to trade/price per share. No benefit with them at all if they are charging a "per share" fee. Etrade does a flat fee of $4.99 to $6.99 for a buy and on the sell side for 10 shares or 10 million and not a cent more.
