When I did it didn't say I was already registered so probably. Different domain so I would recommend everyone sign up for the alerts.

I was curious about the same thing. I signed up with IPIX using the same email address that was on file with CTIX.

After signing up with IPIX I received a message advising me to check my inbox for confirmation. I have yet to receive a confirmation and this was over an hour ago.

In hindsight I'm pretty sure all CTIX notification registrations will be ported over to IPIX.

I may get two notifications for awhile. Or none.

When I re-signed up the information was already loaded in as I typed, odds are the old information will be transported to the new site. imo
