I'm still a novice compared to you Tom, but if anyone doubts TA, look at these two posts talking about what might happen, once we broke .64, not after it happened as some Monday morning quarterback tried to explain, but before it happened. News will control the overall trend, but TA works great between news cycles to set buy and sell points.

I am trying to play devils advocate here, but perhaps Bud meant that because CYDY is so thinly traded, that technical indicators are less reliable /informative than for stocks more broadly traded. But considering his other comments, I tend to doubt he meant that.
