Am looking forward to the Advisory Committee shoo-in (grilling?) and FDA decision.
Someone I know who does pharmaceutical consulting thought that addiction doctors would be less likely to implant probuphine since they might not see patients for 6 months, versus a 1 month implant pretty much requires them to come back for more treatment. As a patient, I would want 6 month implant versus monthly shots, but I don't think doctors always do what is best for patients, unfortunately. Not as much involved with a shot versus implant, so probably won't have to worry about reimbursement there.
