Open interest represents the total number of contracts that have not been settled or offset by delivery.


Dont know where celsius is getting there #. If they are just using reportable or no-reportable. As you see below the open interest on June 13 was 5,488,532. I look at the change in commitments from prior week. Mind you these reports are after the fact. Meaning by the time we see new COT ledger (Tomorrow Friday for this week) it may have changed in either direction. Weather ensembles are a better clue as to NG direction.
