Swing Man, if numerous team offers more then it cannot be fair. Fair is determined by the market, and it was clear the market was willing to pay more. So therefore there offer can't be fair.
Hey it's not my money so I don't care what they pay him. :>) Obviously both the Jets and Seattle are paying him more and I suspect we were looking for a hometown discount.
What they offered him was low compared to what the market is and as Givens and Branch realize that sometimes other teams value Superbowl winners more than the Pats cause we have so many already on the roster. We are just forcing Brady into a shorter passing game with less options. I didn't see any of the current wide receivers putting a scare into any NFL secondary.
