Agreed on the .0009 close. It's not the final .0009 buy that means anything. It's the tens millions of .0008's that were bought that boosted the ask back to .0009. Nobody here is acting like .0009 was a new base or anything.
Once the name change happens a close at 9 will be beneficiary to a close at 8. If it doesn't happen you might be able to collect more 7s and still make another close at 9
