According to Richards, the selloff will come in the aftermath of a large yuan devaluation, which he says is something China has to do, and which the US has no control over. He says it will likely be a 20% mega devaluation of the yuan, occurring sometime after October. Previously the US market dropped 10% following much smaller % yuan devaluations in Aug and Dec 2015.
