Mr. Robert Bruce McIntosh, also known as Rob, has been an Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of WestRock Company since July 1, 2015.
Mr. McIntosh has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of American Petro-hunter Inc. since June 2, 2010 and as its Chief Financial Officer July 2012.
He served as Executive Vice President of Rock Tenn Co. since January 2009 and as its General Counsel and Secretary since August 2000.
Previously, Mr. McIntosh served as Senior Vice President of WestRock Company from August 2000 to January 2009. Previously, he was executive vice president, general counsel and secretary for RockTenn. He served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of RockTenn from 2000 to 2008 and as its vice president and general counsel from 1995 to 1999.
Mr. McIntosh served as Chief Operating Officer American Petro-hunter Inc. since March 2009. Mr. McIntosh served as Chief Executive Officer of Silver Star Energy, Inc. (formerly Movito Holdings Ltd.), since November 2003 and served as its President from September 2003 to May 2008.
Mr. McIntosh served as Chief Executive Officer of Bancroft Uranium, Inc. since July 2008 and served as its President from July 2008 to December 2008. Since 1983 his career has taken him across the Americas and abroad where he has been instrumental in the design, implementation, execution and management of programs in the oil, gas, precious and base metals segments of the resource sector.
His skills encompass virtually every aspect of oil & gas exploration, well completion and production techniques alongside a diverse experience in project acquisition, negotiations, contracts and project divestitures within the petroleum industry. He is a businessman and serves as a Consulting Geologist with over 25 years of proven experience in resource exploration and corporate development. He has diverse experience both as a resource exploration geoscientist alongside noteworthy strengths in all facets of corporate development. He has developed singular expertise and broad industry contacts in his various roles across the publicly traded market sector as well as with private junior E&P companies. Mr. McIntosh has successfully assisted his clients and stakeholders in the U.S.A. and Canada on projects that ultimately became producing properties where he has significantly contributed towards full-field exploitation programs utilizing both traditional and secondary forms of drilling and completion along with ongoing wellsite supervisory management aimed at fully optimizing the potential of each asset. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Cromwell Uranium Holdings, Inc. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of California Gold Corp. from July 11, 2007 to August 8, 2007. He has designed, implemented, executed and managed programs in oil & gas, precious and base metals and diamonds in the United States, Canada and abroad for both public and private companies. Mr. McIntosh has been acting as president of Mesa Resources Inc., a publicly listed exploration company., Since 1998 and Tyrrell Geological Services Ltd. a private geological consulting firm since 1997. He has been involved in the evaluation, exploration and development of various oil and gas plays in Canada and the U.S. since 1997. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Admiral Bay Resources Inc., until August 2003 and as its President from November 19, 2002 to August 2003. He has 25 years of experience in the Mining Industry where he has designed, implemented and executed exploration, drilling and production mining operations in various commodities such as gold, base metals and uranium. He has designed, implemented, executed and managed programs in precious and base metals, diamonds and oil & gas in the United States, Canada and abroad for both public and private companies. He has been Director of American Petro-hunter Inc. since March 23, 2009. He served as Director of Silver Star Energy, Inc. (formerly Movito Holdings Ltd.) since October 31, 2003.
