We went a year ago with someone just like you - he had been to Chicago on business about four times but never toured the city. He had a blast - he said he never got to enjoy it when he was on business. And that is the same as your other comment on NYC - because we live here we never do the touristy things. I did go on the Circle Line as a kid. But I never did one of those tour buses. I am sure we would hear a lot of history that we never heard before.
