They should have to complete grant paperwork annually, which will be available to the public, but might not be posted as a PR unless something really positive occurs. I imagine they will make reference to it in filings though. Pretty small grant, less than $1,000,000 spread over 3 years.
It is hard to know about timing. They are preclinical animal trials. Often safety and efficacy in animal trials allow human trials to proceed quickly under the "animal rule" in serious viral disease indications. They have both safety and efficacy data in HIV using the basic gp96 technology. That is why they know about the mucosal protective effect and why they expect protection for the placenta and to prevent sexual transmission.
