Yah, it'll turn the GSE To utilities turning the 30yr mortgage from implicit to explicit and opening up competition. The thing that MBA leaves out is what to do with shareholders...

This isn't good for us shareholders. But in the Treasury report it didnt speak of turning GSE to utilities or killing the GSEs. It just said that private capital should increase so it can share the risk while providing more loan products. I really believe the GSE will be a hybrid company. Core business is the implicit 30 yr mortgage while a subsidiary or spinoff company is all private funded that'll focus more on riskier loans.

Sheeesh, i wish they will tell us more.
