John Lennon began his early life without his father being around. His mothr Julia gave him to his aunt Mimi because Julia was more interested in the good times at the night life in Liverpool.
Shorty after he joined the Quarrymen and seeing her son perform once with them Julia accidently stepped in front of a car. John did not take it well and had a lot of anger in him that he could not control.  Soon after the Quarrymen asked him to leave as he was no help to them.  John was upset and mad at the world.
Soon after that he met Paul and the rest is history.  The Beatles had 23 No. 1 songs. They composed and sang 213 songs in the 7 years of recording together.
John was born October 9, 1940 and died Dec. 8th, 1980 at age 40.

George died of lung cancer November29,2001 and was 58 years old.  Both he and John left us way too soon.  I believe George's best work was "While Guitar Gently Weeps". He did havea lot of really good music such as My Sweet Lord, and Here Comes The Sun.

But the really big story here is about Ringo Starr.  Upon just learning this today I wanted to give you his beginnings.

Richard Starkey was born July 7, 1940 (in Liverpool just like all the other beatles). His father left at an early age and his mother worked as a cleaning lady.

At age 6 he had an appendectomy, then caught peritonitis. He then spent 12 months at a childrens hospital to recover from that. Just as he got better he was diagnosed with TB. He then spent two more years in a sanatorium.

The staff at the sanatorium tried to occupy their aptients time by having them form a band but paled with ordinary items. Ringo used a wooden mallet to strike cabinets next to his bed.  Ringo was a STAR in training!!

By 1955 he was healed but he dropped out of scholl since he was so far behind.  He tried some odd jobs but all were unrewarding.  One day one of his co-workers introduced him to SKIFFLE MUSIC (using household objects for instruments).  For Christmas 1957 he got a real drum set.  Two years later he joined a real band - Rory Storm and the Hurricanes.  Along the way in their travels he ran into John, Paul and George in Hamburg, Germany. AND THE REST IS HISTORY!!!!  Ringo is now the wealthiest drummer that ever lived.

and now you know the rest of the story!!!!
