Okay, but why would they be dumping such large orders?

Or, if they are going to sell such large orders, why not post them on the ask and see if they can find a buyer. Showing up out of the blue and dumping 20K or 30K shares at a pop seems like a strange way to trade if the goal is to sell at the highest possible price.

Perhaps some deal went sour and someone with inside knowledge decided to dump?

I dunno. But I have bought a boatload down at these prices.
