I-Man - How GE is operating has made him a pariah to the investing world. This is the primary reason along with the hyper dilution that has killed investors off and the pps. My guess is there is still $130 million left to dilute current shareholders. How many shares will that amount to? Another 65 - 70 million yet to come? On top of the last reported 15+ million.
Let's for a moment assume that GE will split the stock again once it hits 45 - 50 million OS. Another 1 for 5 perhaps. That means every share purchased at $2 today will have an a pre-split value 0.40 after the split. I am not sure how that makes sense. Again for the sake of discussion, let's also assume that GE will still needs another $40 million afterwards. That might be a point where an inflection point is reached and the underlying company value outweighs the potential dilution and the pps starts moving up. Maybe.
