Its great to see them finally try something different with respect to developing the Chinese STA market. What they had been doing so far was being met with only limited success.

It looks like Milestone China needed an influx of capital to use for a beefed up marketing program but Milestone Scientific did not have the money to throw at it for their 40% share of the company. So by doing this transaction, they let a new owner step in with deeper pockets than MLSS, and with the will to invest money into developing the Chinese STA market.

A corollary benefit, albeit somewhat modest, is the $125K per quarter coming in the door for the next year or so. They're going to need all the money they can get to market the epidural instrument once that gets approved.
