CEO can't say 'whatever he wants'. There are SEC rules, and if anything is significant enough to affect stock price, it must be published on an 8K. So, it will 'sound' good, but it won't have meat on the bones. So far, he has done good - enough to keep people happy, but no specifics that could get him in trouble with the SEC.
