illmatix, from what I have seen, there have been accumulation for months by deep pockets. Whether they are professional trader, hedge fund manager or institutional people. They can keep it down and short against it if necessary. When the time is right, they will work together to profit from the stock. It's common practice among deep pocket is that people work together to profit and not against. I see this in a lot of stocks. In a way, they control the supply of shares, so they can let some into trading or dry it up if they choose to. There is a fine line between illegal manipulation and strategic trading.
