I wonder the reasoning for doing this phase 3 this way and not how u describe it. Is it FDA or company driven? In any case FDA and company have smart people there and I guess they probably also thought about doing mono only, but for some unknown to me reason decided the way they did. I have a gut feeling vbl arm will beat a Avastin only, just like u said, it could be better.
